From Camp Recaps to the Super Bowl: Brady Knecht’s Big Opportunity

At Nameless Creek Camp, we’re proud to celebrate the talents of our own team—and recently, one of our shining stars had an experience to remember.

Last week, a professional film crew set up on the Greenfield-Central High School football field to shoot part of a national Doritos Super Bowl commercial set to air during the big game on February 8. Students from G-CHS’s radio and television program were invited to assist, including our very own Brady Knecht, who works with us here at camp.

As a production assistant, Brady helped the crew behind the scenes—everything from unloading equipment to keeping the cast and crew hydrated in the summer heat. More importantly, he got a first-hand look at how a national commercial comes together, learning directly from Greenfield resident and filmmaker Johnny Young of Johnny Young Films & Marketing.

“It was a great experience,” Brady said. “I learned a lot from seeing what an official production looks like.” Read the full article here.

We already know Brady’s skills behind the camera are something special. This summer, he created all the Plug Into Nature camp recap videos, which you can find under the Videos tab on our Facebook page. He also manages many of our posts and social media updates, helping us share the magic of camp with our community. And if you attend our upcoming Fall That Jazz fundraiser, you’ll see Brady in action once again, capturing the fun and energy on film.

Our director, Jerry Bell, first reached out to Greenfield-Central High School to ask if students might be interested in helping with camp marketing and storytelling. We’re so glad Brady answered the call—his work has made a lasting impact here at Nameless Creek Camp, and now he’s gaining experiences that will carry him even further.

We can’t wait to cheer him on when that Doritos commercial airs during the Super Bowl!

💡 Note: Right now, every donation to Nameless Creek Camp is being doubled through our donation matching campaign. Your gift today helps ensure the long-term success of the camp—so more students like Brady can discover their passions, develop professional skills, and shine.
